小時候的記憶,媽媽常常會做一些點心,她為了省錢,去跟朋友學糕點,不然這些買起來要滿足五張小嘴,真的是貴森森。

那個時代,沒有電動攪拌機,記得就是一隻簡單的打蛋器,蛋白、鮮奶油要手動打發很費勁,一個人手痠換另一個人打,一個鋼盆每個孩子輪過一回,就差不多了。這是年幼時的美好回憶,看著媽媽出爐的美味點心,那時候的烤箱也小小的,每次為了做點心,媽媽就要忙很久,就是那時,我記得月餅酥皮,就是要反覆桿摺兩次。在沒有麵包機的時代,我們也吃過媽媽的手工吐司,小小一條,花很久的時間。

幾年前教爸爸做麵包時,媽媽宣稱,那種她做過了,爸爸學就好,她主要擅長的還是在廚房,不想再包辦麵食類製品。

我應該是有遺傳到媽媽的基因,只是因為自己懶,懶的原因很多,其中之一是不想自己成為在廚房裡叨叨念念的母親,希望做這些事有療癒、且有心得、有滿足感,更是能給人帶來快樂!

今天送出去的月餅,看見好多開心的笑臉,值得了。

At that time, there were no electric mixers. I remember that it was just a simple egg beater. It was very laborious to beat egg whites and fresh cream manually. This is a good memory when I was young. I watched the delicious dim sum baked by my mother. At that time, the oven was also small. Every time I made dim sum, my mother had to be busy for a long time. At that time, I remember the moon cake meringue. The rod is folded twice. In the era when there was no bread machine, we also ate mother's handmade toast, a small piece, which took a long time.

When teaching my father to make bread a few years ago, my mother declared that she had done that kind of bread, and my father would learn it. She is mainly good at the kitchen and does not want to make pasta products.

I should have inherited my mother’s gene, but it’s just because I’m lazy. There are many reasons for my laziness. One of them is that I don’t want to be a mother who babbles in the kitchen. I hope that doing these things will bring healing, experience and satisfaction, but also can bring happiness to people!

The mooncakes I sent out today, I saw so many happy smiling faces, it was worth it.
