燒衫木工藝的長椅凳

一個IKEA的玻璃層架，以前放電視用的，擺在門口當鞋架，上層的玻璃實在不好用，也不好看。

無意間讓我看見這人的作品，也不確定玻璃層架是否能塞在底下，就是這麼剛好，黑色框架和粗獷設計的原木的鑄鐵支架顏色搭配非常剛好。

擺上這一張木質長椅凳讓門口感覺換然一新。

這是一位略有年紀的老先生的手工藝，距離有點遠，他多要求了運費幫我搬來。我不經意地說，以後你若有類似的作品，再告訴我。想在書房窗外的角落放一張，那個位置還不知道該如何佈置好。

這凳子是感恩節前的聚會11/12 搬來的，感恩節剛過，這先生發簡訊說，他做好了，隔天能送來。

我沒想到這麼快速，本來以為好幾個月後的事，讓我有時間琢磨；不能讓人做白工，只好讓他搬來了。

這次多聊了一下，才知這是用日本工藝燒衫木的做法保持木頭的紋路和防腐，這樣的凳子可以維持非常持久不腐爛。

這位老先生是俄羅斯人，告訴我俄烏戰爭不是媒體說的那樣，烏克蘭侵佔了他的家鄉，推薦我去看一個紀錄片：「Ukarine on Fire」。

現在世界紛紛擾擾，媒體的真相、從各人的角度，誰是真？誰是假？戰爭是殘酷的，可憐的是百姓。我不想直接回應政治話題，也不想批判誰對誰錯，真理永遠只有一個，只有祂可以知道全局。

This is a handicraft of a slightly older gentleman, and the distance is a bit far away. He asked for extra shipping to help me move it. I casually said, if you have similar works in the future, please let me know. I want to put one in the corner outside the study window, but I don't know how to arrange that location.

This stool was brought in on 11/12 for the party before Thanksgiving. Just after Thanksgiving, the gentleman sent a text message saying that he had finished it and could deliver it the next day.

I didn't expect it to be so fast. I thought it would be several months later, so I had time to think about it; I can't let people do white work, so I had to let him move here.

After chatting a little more this time, I found out that this is the method of burning Japanese cedar wood to keep the grain and anti-corrosion of the wood. This kind of stool can last very long and not rot.

The old man is Russian, told me that the Russo-Ukrainian war was not what the media said, Ukraine occupied his hometown, and recommended me to watch a documentary: "Ukarine on Fire".

Now that the world is in turmoil, the truth about the media, from everyone's point of view, who is the truth? Who is fake? The war is cruel, and the poor are the people. I don't want to directly respond to political topics, and I don't want to criticize who is right and who is wrong. There is always only one truth, and only He, our Lord can know the overall situation.
